Last September, Runner's World held a contest for a haiku about shoes. The winner would win a year's worth of running shoes. I like writing haiku, so I submitted an entry. Amazingly, out of 2,000 or so entries, mine was not the winner. C'est La Vie said the old folks. Here's my submission:
Running shoes, full of
Stink and sweat, lie neglected--
Until the next run
Alright, I'm no Basho. Whatever.
