Double Interval

Today I went to the spinning class that I've been going to for the last three weeks. We did three sets of hill climbs. I like that class because they play the music out loud, instead of making us listen through our radio, and I like the music the instructor plays. However, my membership expires on Tuesday and so that will be the last class I take with that particular instructor. The spinning's been good for me; it got me out of my rut. I plan to continue with the new gym.

After the 45 minute spin class, I did some sit-ups and push-ups then ran on the treadmill. For the last three weeks I've been doing tempo runs on Wednesdays, but I didn't do it yesterday because I ran on Tuesday and didn't want to run two days in a row. So I did mile repeats today. I warmed up for a quarter mile (because I was already warmed up from spinning), then ran one mile at 11:06, recovered for a quarter mile, then ran another mile at 11:06. I can't quite believe I did it--and without any gels!
