Life in the SLO lane. After 16 years in Minneapolis, where I become an avid runner, I moved to the California Central Coast. I'm 67 and have been running since I was 50. I've finished 10 marathons, with a 5:49 PR. Aways trying to get faster.
Dori, I use Betty Crocker pie crust mix for the crusts. It holds together much better than when I try to make it from scratch. I use the 1950s version of the Betty Crocker cookbook to mix up the filling. It makes delicious pies.
And your comment about Chocolate Sundae was funny - that's exactly why her name is Sundae. The boys named her and since she is a chocolate lab...her mom's name was Chocolate Mousse. Of the litter there was also a Chip and a Hershey. Cute, huh?
