For Gwen
My cousin lost her battle with ovarian cancer yesterday morning. She was in the hospital for 48 consecutive days. She leaves behind her husband, baby girl (pictured below), parents, siblings and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I didn't know her well. We are several years apart in age and she grew up hours away from me. Still, I remember her and it's a sad day. The picture above was taken at Disneyland last December, so you can see she was young. Less than a month later she learned she had Stage IV ovarian cancer.

I'm sorry for your family's loss. And for your cousin missing watching her child grow, and her baby missing her Mommy. It's hard all around. My thoughts are with you.
You are sweet to post this, Dori. It's an incredibly sad loss for your family; thank you for sharing it with us. Perhaps her story can serve as awareness for ovarian cancer. Or thoughts are with her husband, beautiful baby, and the rest of your family.
What a beautiful woman. My heart breaks for her young family.
I'm glad you've posted about Gwen, as this will give people more awareness to ovarian cancer.
