During the Fargo Half Marathon last May, I spotted this sign on a bank building. Clever, no? I thought so. So later, when this company was soliciting slogans to print on their shirt, I submitted it. It was a contest and the winner gets a shirt of her/his choice and a check for a couple hundred dollars. There were lots of entries,and I never expected anything to come of it. I was mostly just sharing it with the people who were voting on the contest. Well, my entry garnered the most votes and I won.I was not in my happy place--I didn't come up with the slogan myself! I scoured the Internet to make sure it wasn't copyrighted, and it wasn't. Nowhere did I find that phrase. I decided to salve my conscience by donating a portion of the check to charity. But I'm keeping the shirt. :-)

Hey, it's something you saw that stuck and if the people that put it up weren't clever enough to get it on a t-shirt...well, that's their tough luck! A friend of mine fell in love with the shirt from there "running is my happy hour" (at least I assume that's the same place I didn't click the link, but it looks like it)
It's a SHIRT you won, not a million dollar prize! Plus, you just gave that bank some free advertising on your blog!

Nice shirt, nice site. I put one of those "26.2" car magnets they sell for four dollars on my pickup truck and it drives non-runners crazy wondering what it means. When they ask, I tell 'em my rifle rack fell off my rear window but that's the caliber slug I use.

That's cool! I actually bought a shirt from Skirt Sports a few months back that says "find your happy pace". It's a cute white shirt with a pink clock next to the slogan. They might still sell them...
